"What is Photography?" Questions

1. Erik poses the question 'is it photography?'

2. Erik's first real passion was drawing.

3. The first conception of photography that Erik had was that all you did was click the button and take the photo. Anyone could do it.

4. This inspired him because he didn't want to do that. He wanted to do something different, something not anyone could do. That when he presses the button, the process starts instead of ends.

5. His goal is to keep it rather realistic.

6. It isn't what is realistic. It is what we think looks realistic, like it could exist even though we know it couldn't.

7. Take pictures with the same lighting and taken at the same height, as well as making it sure that it is impossible how to see where one image starts and the other ends.

8. It is easier to create a place rather than find a place because you don't need to compromise with the ideas in your head.

9. His planning of his photos starts with an idea and sketch and then it goes to planning how to combine the photos.

10. The photos go as far as our imagination goes. The only thing that limits us is our imagination.
